Neurodivergent Therapist
You’ve tried the planners. Set the alarms. Read the advice that seems to work for everyone else—but somehow, not for you. You’ve felt like you’re constantly playing by rules you never agreed to. Maybe you’ve even been told you’re “too much” or “not trying hard enough” when, in reality, you’re working twice as hard just to keep up.
I know firsthand that ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodivergence shape how we experience the world. Our brains don’t need more forcing or fixing. My approach is different: I help you understand your brain, build self-compassion, and create accommodations that actually work for your unique self.
If you’re tired of feeling misunderstood and want therapy that makes sense for you, I’d love to chat with you.
Real healing isn’t neat. It’s messy, nonlinear, and deeply worth it.
My Approach: Flexible, Real, and Relationship-Driven
Therapy with me is fluid, honest, and built on trust. The therapeutic relationship comes first, and from there, we’ll figure it out together.
Psychotherapy isn’t just about symptom management—it’s about understanding your brain, your nervous system, and how to navigate life in a way that genuinely honors who you are. That’s why I also integrate education about neurodivergence, the neurobiology of trauma, and attachment.
Understanding yourself and how your brain works is empowering!
Many folks with ADHD and/or autism spend a lifetime feeling misunderstood—told they’re ‘wrong’ without knowing why. This creates understandable mistrust. I work hard to build a relationship where you feel safe, seen, and supported—where you can explore every part of yourself, even the ones you’ve hidden, without shame.
My approach is integrative, meaning I pull from a variety of therapies, including:
Psychodynamic Therapy – Understanding how past experiences shape the present
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Moving toward what matters, even with discomfort
Humanistic Therapy – Honoring your lived experience and innate potential for growth
Gestalt Therapy – Building awareness and presence in the here and now
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Emotion regulation and distress tolerance
Compassion-Focused Therapy – Cultivating self-kindness instead of self-criticism
Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Exploring the different parts of yourself with curiosity
I’ll take the time to figure out what works for you, and I’ll ask for your feedback throughout the process. Therapy should be collaborative and adaptable.
Trauma teaches you to be small. Healing is learning to take up space again.
Who I Am
I’m a neurodivergent therapist who took the long way here. I know what it’s like to struggle with self-doubt, burnout, and the frustration of being misdiagnosed or misunderstood. I also know how game-changing it is when you finally get the right support. That’s why I do this work.
My clients inspire me every day with their resilience, humor, and creativity. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” with you—it’s about embracing who you are and making life work for your unique brain.
Growth happens in spaces where we can be honest with ourselves.

My Values
-
Therapy works best when it's honest, and that starts with me showing up as my real, imperfect, human self. You won’t get a scripted response or detached professionalism—I bring my full presence, humor, and genuineness into every session.
-
You are not just a list of symptoms or a label. I approach therapy with deep curiosity—wanting to understand how your mind works, what makes sense for you, and how we can tailor support in a way that fits your needs, goals, and processing style.
-
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. We’ll try different strategies, shift gears when needed, and make sure this process feels dynamic, accessible, and (dare I say) even enjoyable.
-
Sometimes, what isn’t said holds the most meaning. Whether it’s the deeper emotions behind your words, the connections between past and present, or the unspoken struggles you don’t have language for—I’ll help you notice the patterns, gaps, and things left unsaid that might need your attention.
-
This is a space where you don’t have to filter yourself. Whether you’re feeling stuck, lost, overwhelmed, or unsure, you’re welcome as you are. My goal is to create an environment where you can explore, reflect, and grow—without shame, without judgment, and always at your pace.
Why I Became a Therapist
I’ve been studying people my whole life—probably because growing up, I never quite fit. I spent a lot of time trying to decode unspoken rules, feeling like I was missing something everyone else just knew.
Even after becoming a therapist, I kept hitting walls with burnout and self-management. Eventually, I realized the common denominator: overstimulation, overwhelm, and executive function struggles. I had been diagnosed with ADHD as a kid, but like many, I abandoned it in adolescence. I revisited the diagnosis, sought support, and my life changed.
I realized my struggles weren’t a personal failing—they were my brain needing the right conditions to thrive.
